Additional information

  • We kindly ask you NOT to use the following products, as they significantly damage the ecosystems connected via aquifer:

    • Sunscreen

    • Mosquito repellent

    • Make-up

    • Perfume

  • Where possible, we ask you to shower before entering the water.

  • Generally, the conditions in the cenotes are relatively stable and are not affected too much by the weather. However, we would like to clarify the following:

    • If it is cloudy, the light & mirror effects will be correspondingly weaker or not visible at all.

    • After long or heavy rains it happens in some, especially open cenotes, that the first 1-3 meters of water become murky and/or discolored.

    • When it rains, small waterfalls sometimes form in semi-open and closed cenotes, which again creates a completely different, wonderful scenery.

* Hereby we declare the transport explicitly as gratuitous service and exclude an individual pick-up.

** All freedive activities require a corresponding certification.
